Items scheduled for disposal include: Backpacks, bags, bicycles, scooters, cell phones, credit cards/bank cards, currency, clothing, jewelry, household items, keys, knives, tools, saws, snow blower, welder, lawn trimmers, metal detectors, studio lighting equipment, and other miscellaneous items.

The City of North Salt Lake will hold an election on August 12th (Primary as needed) and November 4, 2025 to elect the following offices:

2025 CITY OF NORTH SALT LAKE MUNICIPAL ELECTION NOTICE
Pursuant to Utah Code 10-3-301(2)(a), the City of North Salt Lake hereby gives notice of the following municipal offices to be voted on in the 2025 Municipal General Election: Mayor and two (2) City Council Members. Each office is a four-year term beginning January 2026.
A primary election will be held, if necessary, on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. The general election will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

Notice City's Annual Meeting Schedule for the City Council & Planning Commission
2025 ANNUAL MEETING SCHEDULE
Pursuant to section 52-4-202 of the Utah Code, the City of North Salt Lake hereby gives notice that the North Salt Lake City Council will generally hold its regular City Council meetings for the 2025 calendar year on the first and third Tuesday of each month. Notice is also given that the Planning Commission will generally hold its regular meetings for the 2025 calendar year on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. The City Council and Planning Commission meetings will be held at the North Salt Lake City Hall, in the Council Chambers, 10 East Center Street, with the City Council commencing at 6:00 p.m. for work session and 7:00 p.m. for regular session, and the Planning Commission at 6:30 p.m., unless otherwise posted. If any meeting is canceled or rescheduled, public notice will be given of such new meeting dates. Meetings at times other than as specified shall be held by the City Council or Planning Commission as circumstances require.
All meetings of the City Council and Planning Commission are open to the public unless closed pursuant to Section 52-4-204, Utah Code. The work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and services required for the construction of the above described project as included in the Contract Documents; consisting of the following items of work: full asphalt removal of approximately 12,470 SY, regrading and road base as required, new asphalt, and all appurtenant work; all in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by ESI Engineering.

2024 ANNUAL MEETING SCHEDULE
Pursuant to section 52-4-202 of the Utah Code, the City of North Salt Lake hereby gives notice that the North Salt Lake City Council will generally hold its regular City Council meetings for the 2024 calendar year on the first and third Tuesday of each month. Notice is also given that the Planning Commission will generally hold its regular meetings for the 2024 calendar year on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. The City Council and Planning Commission meetings will be held at the North Salt Lake City Hall, in the Council Chambers, 10 East Center Street, with the City Council commencing at 6:00 p.m. for work session and 7:00 p.m. for regular session, and the Planning Commission at 6:30 p.m., unless otherwise posted. If any meeting is canceled or rescheduled, public notice will be given of such new meeting dates. Meetings at times other than as specified shall be held by the City Council or Planning Commission as circumstances require.
All meetings of the City Council and Planning Commission are open to the public unless closed pursuant to Section 52-4-204, Utah Code. The City of North Salt Lake is soliciting proposals for Architectural and Design Services related Phase 1 of the Renovation and Expansion of Hatch Park located at 50 West Center Street, North Salt Lake, Utah, 84054. This notice is provided as a supplementary document related to the 1st addendum to the RFP for Architectural and Design Services for the Hatch Park Renovation and Expansion Project. The following changes have been made to the original Request for Proposal:
1) Due to several questions related to the project, the City will hold a voluntary information meeting to go over project details and answer questions that potential respondents may have. The meeting will be held on July 11 at 2:00 p.m. at the City Offices at 10 East Center Street. Attendance at the meeting is not mandatory or required in order to submit a response to this RFP.
2) The submittal date for this RFP has been extended until August 3, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.
3) The submittal date for the sealed bid portion of the project responses is also extended until August 3, 2023.
4) There is a question cut-off date added to the RFP of July 25, 2023. After that date, staff will not be available to answer project-related questions.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND INTENT TO ISSUE
SALES TAX REVENUE BONDS
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council (the “Council”) of the City of North Salt Lake Utah (the “City”), shall hold a public hearing to receive input from the public with respect to the issuance of its Sales Tax Revenue Bonds (the “Bonds”) to finance all or a portion of the cost of improvements to Hatch Park in the City (the “Project”) and the potential economic impact that the Project will have on the private sector, pursuant to the Local Government Bonding Act, Title 11, Chapter 14, Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended (the “Act”).
PURPOSE FOR ISSUING BONDS
The City intends to issue the Bonds for the purpose of (1) financing all or a portion of the costs of the acquisition, construction and improvement of the Project, (2) funding any necessary reserves and contingencies in connection with the Bonds, and (3) paying the costs incurred in connection with the issuance and sale of the Bonds.
MAXIMUM PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF THE BONDS
The City intends to issue the Bonds in an aggregate principal amount not exceeding $17,000,000.
SALES TAXES PROPOSED TO BE PLEDGED
The City proposes to pledge to the payment of the Bonds all of the legally available revenues from Local Sales and Use Taxes received by the City pursuant to Title 59, Chapter 12, Part 2, Utah Code.
TIME, PLACE AND LOCATION OF PUBLIC HEARING
The City will hold a public hearing during its City Council meeting that begins at 6:00 p.m. on November 29, 2022. The public hearing will be held at the regular meeting place of the Council at City Hall, 10 East Center Street, City of North Salt Lake, Utah. All members of the public are invited to attend and participate in the public hearing. Written comments may be submitted to the City, to the attention of the City Recorder, prior to the public hearing.
PURPOSE FOR HEARING
The purpose of the hearing is to receive input from the public with respect to the issuance of the Bonds and the potential economic impact that the Project will have on the private sector.
NOTICE OF RIGHT TO FILE PETITION TO HOLD AN ELECTION
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that pursuant to Section 11-14-307(7), Utah Code, if within 30 calendar days of the posting of this notice on November 3, 2022, a written petition requesting an election and signed by at least twenty percent (20%) of the registered voters of the City is filed with the City, then the City shall submit the question of whether or not to issue the Bonds to the voters of the City for their approval or rejection.
If no written petition is filed or if fewer than 20% of the registered voters of the City sign a written petition, in either case, within 30 calendar days of the posting of this notice on November 3, 2022, the City may proceed to issue the Bonds without an election.
