Utilities & Garbage

The City of North Salt Lake provides water, garbage and recycling collection services (through contracted providers). Please see links below for setting up new utilities, termination or to set up direct payments.

**As of the September, 2025 billing cycle, a 10% late fee was added to any utility account balance more than 60 days past due. We understand life gets busy, but unpaid balances add up quickly. If you are experiencing financial hardship or need to set up a payment plan, call our Utility Department for assistance: 801-335-8702.**

Garbage Pickup Map and Schedules

Second Saturday Pick-up

The City of North Salt Lake now offers an Extra Garbage Pick Up the second (2nd) Saturday of every month. Simply fill your can and put it out on the curb the night before. This service is included in your monthly garbage rate. No piles of trash, etc. will be picked up. No toxic or hazardous materials accepted. No tires or batteries allowed.

*NOTE: The garbage pick-up route days are changing as of January 1, 2026. Affected residents have received post cards in the mail alerting them to this change. Contact Ace at 801-363-9995 with any questions.
